Volunteer to coach
Our staff of Jamaican and American coaches is 100% volunteer. Do you have coaching or teaching experience? Do you have a desire to work with children or learn about sports development? If so, or if you are simply an enthusiastic individual looking to pitch in for the benefit of Jamaican youth, contact us to learn about opportunities to serve as a member of our coaching or support staff.
Apply for Notre Dame Student Service Project
Interested students at the University of Notre Dame are encouraged to apply for a volunteer position to assist in various capacities with the Jumpball Basketball Clinic: Kingston. Preference is given to applicants who have demonstrated leadership by working with the Notre Dame Bookstore Basketball Tournament – the world’s largest five-on-five basketball tournament and a major sponsor of the Jumpball Basketball Programme.
Decisions are made in April for the Jumpball Basketball Clinic: Kingston, held each summer in July.

Donate Needed Items and Services
It takes a lot to run a series of basketball camps for 600 children each summer at no cost to participants. Some items and services needed to operate Jumpball include the obvious (basketballs) to the more obscure (assistance with website design) and include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Basketballs
- Basketball equipment (hoops, nets, ball bags)
- Trophies, medals, awards, giveaways
- T-shirts
- Electric ball pumps
- Discounted airfare
- Website design
- Development experience
